Natural Toothpaste With Only 4 Ingredients

You can find natural toothpaste in stores, but after you read all the ingredients in it you realize that you can do something similar at home and so much cheaper! Commercial toothpastes contain many toxic ingredients: sodium fluoride, sodium lauryl sulfate, triclosan, artificial colors and flavorings.

Home made pastes are simple and fun to prepare and are much more safer and healthier for your teeth. Baking soda is not pre-abrasive for teeth, in fact this homemade paste is less abrasive than the one you will buy.

Tip: Use a soft brush with which you can massage your teeth. We note that home made toothpaste does not foam because they do not have harmful sodium lauryl sulfate.

This natural toothpaste recipe differs from other recipes that you can find on the internet because its not salty it is tasty and kids love it!

* 3 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil
* 2-3 tablespoons baking soda
* 1 teaspoon of stevia extract (about 50 mg) for sweet taste (or 1/2 teaspoon of dry ground stevia)
* 15-20 drops of essential oil of pepper (and / or cinnamon, orange, …)
Stem of slightly soften the coconut  oil. If the oil is in a harder condition, use a fork or if it is in liquid state use a spoon. Stir well the other ingredients. If you use fully melted coconut oil, you will need to stir it several times as the mixture cools and it needs to bond with the baking soda.
Put the mixture in a tube ( an empty tube can be purchased at the pharmacy ).
Let the paste to cool.
Use and Storage:

Squeeze out of the tubes or dip the toothbrush and apply a small amount of the paste. Keep away the tube from heat and light because of the essential oils.

Have smoother and more puffy teeth
Many have not had caries for years
