One interesting study shows that 1 in every 4 deaths are from heart attack or heart disease! This fact is something that everybody should know. We need to pay more attention to our bodies because they warn us of an upcoming heart attack days before it happens.

 

1 – Pain: But not just in the chest, in other places!

Everyone thinks that first symptoms or any symptoms of a heart attack come from chest pain, but there is more, because this pain can lead to something different than your heart. The pain usually starts in the chest then it goes to the jaw, then your back, shoulders-arms and into the abdomen area.

But sometimes it can be no chest pain at all! So it is important to pay attention to the pain in your arms and between the shoulder blades. One more thing: the pain may come and go, so you should watch for that too.

 

2 – Coughing or Wheezing

You should look for bloody phlegm when you cough. However sometimes it can be innocent as a mild cough or wheezing.

So, these are the signs to be aware of:

  • Lightheadedness or nausea
  • Cold sweat
  • Shortness of breath

You should not ignore these symptoms, if they persist you should go and search for help in the hospital.

 

3 – Swelling of Ankles and Feet

This may sound odd to you but yes, heart failure can create access fluid to your body. You watch for the swelling in the ankles, legs, feet and sometimes it can be on the abdomen.

 

4 – Acute Anxiety

Acute Anxiety is a symptom that you should be scared the most because it creates almost the same symptoms of a heart attack. And yes, there are many people that have these kind of attacks before the heart attack occurs. So, don’t ignore the anxiety attack it may lead to something much scary…
